The ACM/SPEC International Conference on Performance Engineering (ICPE) is 
the leading international forum for presenting and discussing novel ideas, 
innovations, trends, and experiences in the field of performance engineering.

ICPE brings together researchers and practitioners to report state-of-the-art 
and in-progress research on performance engineering of software, networks, 
and systems, e.g., performance modeling, analysis, measurement, benchmark 
design, and run-time performance management. The focus is both on classical 
metrics such as response time, throughput, resource utilization, and (energy) 
efficiency and on the relationship of such metrics to other system 
properties, e.g., scalability, elasticity, availability, reliability, cost, 
sustainability, security, and privacy.

ICPE 2025 will take place in Toronto, Canada, from May 5 to May 9, 2025. This 
is the collective call for papers for special tracks and workshops, with 
submission deadlines ranging from early January to early February. 
Notifications of acceptance will be sent in early to late February, allowing 
sufficient time for attendees requiring visas to make necessary arrangements.

Proceedings of all tracks will be published in ACM Digital Library. Each 
track and workshops has its own submission site, mostly using HotCRP; further 
details are provided below.

Emerging Research Track: Provides a platform to present innovative ideas, 
vision papers, and preliminary research findings on emerging challenges, with 
some aspects of the work remaining open and possibly with limited or no 
evaluation.

Journal First Track: Invites authors of performance-focused papers published 
in selected journals to submit and present their work.

Artifact Evaluation Track: Hosts artifacts accompanying the accepted research 
track and industry track papers, but also independently submitted data and

Data Challenge Track: Invites participants to address the challenges 
presented by a performance dataset provided by the organizers.
