The celebration takes place during "Petri Nets 2026", the
        47th International Conference on  Applications and Theory of Petri 
Nets and Concurrency
        Hamburg, Germany, June 22-26, 2026

On the occasion of the 100th birthday of Carl Adam Petri, the Petri Net 
Conference 2026
will take place in Hamburg, at the university where Petri held an honorary 
professorship.

A celebration by the Gesellschaft für Informatik (GI) on the shore of the 
Außenalster, 
with talks by Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Valk, Prof. Dr. Jörg Desel, Prof. Dr. 
Wolfgang Reisig, 
and Prof. Dr. Wil van der Aalst.
